My body feels like a noodle...

I have to say that it has been awhile since I have done two fencing practices in one day. Yesterday I had two fencing practices and today I had two fencing practices. I know that we have fencing practice tomorrow, but I don't know if we are going to be having two times or not. I really hope that we don't have it twice because my body is really tired and sore.

This morning all we did was play soccer for like two hours because the coaches were having a meeting, but tonight we will actually fence. Yesterday we actually fenced both times. My feet are soooo sore because all of my caluses have gone away over break, or were slowly healing so the tough skin that I had in the begining of the year is kind of gone and it sucks. It hurts just to walk, but oh well. I have to deal with the pain to get better. This way when school starts I won't be too sore since I will have been fencing. I will have a head start on some of the people that haven't been to fencing. Lets just hope I survive until next week.

Last night Micki and I went shopping at Target. Her parents got her a $100 gift card for xmas. We bought some storage things for the closet and some metal rack things for out in the living area to go against the one wall when u first walk in. We were going to go to the movies, but we made it a building night instead. Well I didn't really put any of the stuff together, but Micki did. So tonight we are going to go to the Drexel theater to see We Are Marshall. I think it's going to be a really good movie. I will let you all know how it is.

Angie and Brian stoped by so I could give them Kristin's xmas presents. They only stoped for a little bit becasue they were running behind schedule. I think Kristin will like her xmas gifts.

So now I'm sitting at younkin being bored. I worked at younkin on wednesday and yesterday, but there were people from FTAD so it wad kind of weird just sitting here with them, but they are not here today so I have no one to keep my company. Oh well, that is life. So I'm trying to keep myslef from being bored because I have to work until 5. I think this weekend I might go to JoAnn fabrics to see if I can get a fabric that is close to my fie fencing jacket to put on the back so I can get my name embroydered(sp). If I didn't already have my name stencled on the back of it, then I would need to find a piece of fabric. I'm guessing that I'm not going to find the kind of fabric that I need and I'm not going to be able to get my jacket embroydered...oh well. I don't really need to get it done, but it looks alot nicer than the stencle and it won't fade either. My dad promised me that if I made it to the second round in Richmond, which I did, he would let me get my jacket embroydered. So we will see if I have any luck.

Other than that, not much else is happening execpt that I really need to clean my room. I need to put the clean clothes away and get ready for the school year so I can actually have a place to do homework and stuff. I know I say this every quarter, but I'm going to try really hard to say organized this time. I just need to start off organized and then I think I will stay organized. One nice thing is that I don't have any evening classes so I will have all evening after fencing practice to get my homework and studying done. Since fencing practice is from 2-5, I will have the whole evening to get stuff done. Normally in the past I have always had to take atleast one evening class because fencing practice was from 9:30-12:30 and that was when alot of my class were. I'm still going to be late to practice three days a week because my one class for textiles and clothing is from 1:30-2:18, but coach already knows. I have to take this class otherwise I won't make college progress and I will be ineligable to fecnce and that would be no go...

Well I think I have rambled on enough for now. Sorry if this post jumped from one thing to another. I'm just really bored and just typed what ever came to my head. So until next time....ttyl

Off To Bed Bath And Beyond...

Today so far hasn't been very productive. I woke up around 11ish and I have been sitting here on the couch watching tv and being on the computer. I have decided that I'm going to get up off of my ass, take a shower, and go to Bed Bath And Beyond to use the coupons that I have. When I come back I"m actually going to decorate my christmas tree that I have been putting off. For what reason as to me not decorating my tree, I don't know. Although I might do some more shoping because I still need to get a christmas present for Garland and Eileen....what to get them is the question. I think I know what I am going to get Eileen, but I have no idea what I am going to get Garland. She has gotten harder and harder to shop for. I think that is because I don't spend as much time around her like I used to. Hopefully I can figure something out before christmas. Anywho, this is going to be a short post since I need to go and shower and then go to Bed Bath And Beyond...I will maybe post later when I get back from shoping and decorating my tree....so until next time...ttyl!

Bored.....

I have been really bored that past few days. I guess it's because I don't have a job or school going on so I really don't have that much to do. I did do a little running around today. I went to the post office and to the ups store for my dad, and then I finished part of Micki's christmas present. I still need to do christmas shopping for other people. Tonight my dad has to go to the mall and he asked if I wanted to go. I think I will go so I can get some shopping done. Other than that not much has been happening. We got our christmas trees on saturday and I helped my dad bring them in the house, yesterday I watched the Steeler game in the family room. I have had a pretty boring break so far. Nothing too exciting. I guess I have been in a weird mood lately and I don't know why....I guess I'm just thinking about too many things, but hopefully once school starts things will be better because I will have things to keep me busy. I go back to school on the 27th because I have to work at younkin on the 27th, 28th, and the 29th. I don't know what I'm doing for new years. I guess I will probably just hang out in my apartment and have a tost with Micki at midnight unless we go somewhere around town. If anything else comes up I'll post it. I think I am going to make some pasta becasue I'm kind of hungry. So until next time...ttyl!

A day of shopping...i think...

I have decided that once my parents leave this afternoon for their christmas parties for work, I think I am going to go shopping, but I'm not sure. I still need to do my christmas shopping for people. I might just get a few things. I have been working on two christmas presents so far, one for my parents and one for micki. I'll post a little later after I go shopping to tell you all how much fun it was...lol...so until next time, ttyl....

I did ok in Richmond..

We got back last night around 8:30pm from Richmond, and this is how the weekend went

We left around 11ish on saturday morning and got to Richmond around 5ish. After we got there we checked in and then my dad and I went over to get all of my stuff checked out. After that we went to dinner and then came back and watched the end of the heisman trophey award....After that I just laid in bed and eventually went to sleep.

The thing that sucked the most for this weekend was that my registration was from 7-8am....which my brain doesn't function much before 10am as it is. So I went over and got registered and had a lesson from Sasha. My aunt drove from Willimsburgh which is about an hour away to see me fence. At the begining of this trounament I was ranked dead last, 106. I started off ok in the pools. I beat the easy girl first and then my second opponent was Amy Orlando who is a beeeeeeeeeeeep...but we will just leave it at that. No one on our team really likes her. So I had to fence her second, and I ended up beating her in over time 5-4, and let me tell you, she was pissed. I felt pretty good after that bout, I though I would win atleast one more. I was in a pool of 7 mind you. Well, I ended up losing three of my bouts 4-5, 2 of them being in overtime and I lost the other one 3-5. I was really mad after pools because I didn't think that I would make it with only two wins.

After only like a 10min. wait, they posted the results and the de tables. I ended up tieing for 71st. Amy Orlando didn't make the cut. They drew the line right above her name. I just kind of laughed because I can't even begin to count how many time sthat has happened to me. So I won my first de. I was wining after the frist period 9-4, or something like that. Then something happened and she started to catch up. The final score of the bout was 15-13. Then I had to fence another de, and I lost that one. The girl that I lost to, her name was Lawerance. She fenced with a french grip and I don't like to fence people that have a fence grip just because it's alot harder to judge distance of how far you actually are from them. In the begining I was keeping the score tied 5-5. Then after the break she figured something out and ended up wining I think 15-11 or 9...somethtime like that. I was soooo mad at myself. She was ranked number 2 at the begining of the tournament and I think she was quite surprised when she fenced me. I think she thought that I would be an easy win, but she was wrong. I put up the best fight that I could.

In the end, I came somewhere in the top 64 which is not bad for my first national tournament like like 2 years. Hopefully I will do even better in the NAC that is in columbus in January. We left around 3 and then had dinner when we got home. What's funny is that I don't remember going to bed after dinner. I had taken some Nyquil because I am sick and I cough alot at night. My dad said that I had heard him eatting ice cream and that I came down after he was done eatting his ice cream and asked to have some. Then I supposidly went up stairs and ate it, but I don't remember that at all. My mom says that when she went to bed she took off my glasses, turned the tv off, turned off my light, and closed my door. I was out like a rock.

I got up around 10ish this morning and had a late breakfast with my parents and then around 11:45 my dad took both jeeps to get cleaned at clean town usa becasue they were filthy(sp) and we had to pick the dog up. I took the dog home so that my dad could to to Wallmart and now I'm sitting here writing this blog. I think I am going to stop here becasue if you made it this far you are probably tired of reading what I have to say. So until next time.....ttyl

I'M DONE WITH FINALS!!

After a very long week, I am finally done with finals and I'm happy. I'm leaving to go home on friday. What time I'm leaving I do not know yet. Then saturday I am driving to Richmond for the NAC. Then on the 12th I'm going to chicago with my mom. I can't wait.....Other than that, that is about it....

On a side note I wish I would quit making people mad at me but I always seem to mess things up when they are getting good. I'm sorry for what I said and I hope that you can forgive me. I have deleted the blog and I promise that I won't say anything like that I again. I really do want to be able to see this person for new years, but I understand if you won't let me again.....sorry again... :(
