And my early x-mas present is.....A NEW CAR!!!

Today was a day of surprise....here is the stoy from start to finish:

I woke up today around 8:30 because my dad was going to look over my powerpoint. Well he wasn't home when I woke up because he had to go into work. So while I was waiting for him to get home I had some bread for breakfast. I wasn't going to eat too much because when my mom would get back from getting Kathy, she was going to bring my home bruger's bagles. So once my dad gets home around 9:30ish he started to work on my powerpoint. I didn't realize what time it was because I needed to take a shower so we could take my bike over to get fixed at 10. So I went to take a shower and then we left. My dad and I were hoping that when we got home, my mom would be back from picking up Kathy. Well she wasn't. So I watched tv for a little bit. My mom finally got home a little bit after 12, then we left. We had to go to barnet gurage to have the jeep checked over because last week one day the jeep didn't start and eliton wanted to look at it. On our way there I was like "I want to test drive a jeep compass", and my dad kept saying that they wouldn't have them and stuff like that. So we get there and I ask if they have one. They say no...but were joking with me. A few seconds later someone told me to come out to the show room. I walked by this one jeep and I was like, "Is this the new jeep compass" and they said yes. I was happy because I would be able to test drive it. I go around to the front of and there was a sold sign and I was like, "no, it's sold". Then my mom tells me to just go and sit in it. My dad comes out and says it's your car happy early christmas....I was like are you serious...I was just speechless. I was soooooooooo excited. They had put a big white bow on the antenna. It's a red 2007 jeep compass, and very nice. So I'm still in disbelief that it's MY car. I think it will hit me on sunday when I got back to school with the car myself and without my dad. So that was the biggest part of my day.

Then on our way to grove city prime outlet mall we had lunch at this nice resturant called the iron bridge. Then we went to the outlet mall. I only bought soccer socks for fencing. My mom was looking for this certain kitchen store to buy me new knives, but it wasn't there. Then my dad and I left in the new jeep, and my mom was in the old jeep taking Kathy home. My dad and I stoped at giant eagle to get food for dinner, and then we came home and now I'm sitting here putting up this new blog....anywho....that is all for now. So until next time...ttyl

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Today I was fat and happy. I actually got to sleep in for once. I got up around 11:30. I took a shower and then my dad made some scrambled eggs and english muffins, which was very yummy. Then after my mom took her shower, we went ant got Kathy and came back. This afternoon I FINISHED my cs&e final project. My dad is going to look over my powerpoint tomorrow morning, but for the most part it is done.

Let me tell you...dinner was amazing. I miss my dad's good food while I'm at school. For starters we had shrimp bisc soup and then for our meal we had capon, mashed potatoes, yam potatoes, some vegetables and stuffing. For dessert we had crembule(sp)...it was good, but not sure I like that all that much. After dinner we took Kathy home and then I have been on the computer since I got home and watching tv. This is going to be a short post because I'm about to go to bed becasue I have to get up early to do things tomorrow and we are going shopping at the grove city outlet mall. Ouchies....

So yesterday I stoved my finger. How I stoved it is really stupid. Micki was going to hit my ass last night and I went to block her from doing so and my ring finger on my left hand went into her arm and I just fell to the floor the pain was soooo bad. Luckly it's not broken...well that's what Todd says. Sometimes it annoys me how much he sometimes doesn't care about things and just waves them off. My nuckle is like two times the size it should be and it hurts to fully straighten my finger out and it hurts to bed it fully. I'm hoping that by taping it, it will get better sooner than later. The good thing is that I have yet to bang it on something. You know how when you hurt something or have a cut, you always seem to bang it on something or re-cut it.....well I have lucked out so far.

Tomorrow is going to be along day. Even though I don't have any classes, after fencing practice I need to hurry, take a shower after Eileen and get to campus. I have sooo much to do as far as homework. I'm also having trouble on my final project for my CS&E class. So hopefully I will be able to meet with my TA and he can help me out. I also have to do my reading for my english class. We are starting poetry so hopefully the reading will go by fast. I also need to start to recopy my psychology notes because the notes that I take in class are a mess and are not good to study from. There is also an extra credit paper that I need to start for psychology. I need all of the extra credit that I can get! So hopefully if I can get alot of this stuff done tomorrow and not get distracted by things, I can get alot of stuff done. When I go to campus, I think I will bring my laptop and my headphones so I won't get distracted by people at younkin.

One other thing that I'm pissed about is that all of my teachers have cancled class execpt for my english class that is at 1:30. My 5:30 and 7:00 class have cancled. My english teacher says that if she has to be on campus on wednesday, so do we.....No one is going to be in class on wednesday. It's going to be kind of funny. I mean, I will be there because I already told my dad that she is not going to cancle class. If she would cancle class, I could leave at like 1:30 to go home. My dad would just leave earlier. Then we would be able to avoid the work traffic that we are going to get stuck in. The reason we are going to have class is that we have to have 14 quizes. We already had the two days that we didn't have a quiz. So in order to fullfill the 14 quizes, we have to have a quiz every class from now until the end of the quarter. What I'm hoping for is that not many people will show up so she wil ljust give us all 10's on the quiz or give us extra credit for coming. It's going to be such a boring class. I would skip, but I also would have a guilty conscious about not going to class......oh well, I can't change it.

Anywho, I'm getting sleepy and I need to go to bed. Kristin you should be proud of me for how often in the past few days that I have been posting. Maybe I'm going to be starting a new habbit...we will see....so until next time.....ttyl!

Wow....posting after ONLY 3 days...I think that's a record

This might be a first for me in awhile. I'm actually putting up a post that isn't after a week or two has passed...lol...So today I have been somewhat successful. I got up around 11ish. I woke up with a headache which was not fun. I had to fix my bike. A long story short, there was a screw hitting the back tire so I had to take the tire off to tighten the screw, go to the hardware store to get some thing to unsrew the breaks so I could take the tire off and had to buy a nut and a washer. I was able to tighten the screw and put the tire back on. Now the only problem is that it doesn't seem like the bike is shifting correctly, but I will leave that for the bike store when I go home on wednesday. I don't want to mess my bike up anymore than it is because I don't know all that much when it comes to fixing bikes.

So yesterday I went to the OSU vs Michigan game. Let me tell you, it was AMAZING!!!!.....Ok, here is the story about yesterday. I woke up around 9:30ish and got to campus around 10ish. I was looking around for scalpers and at first wasn't having much luck. Then I decided to wait by Woodruff and the the entrance pathway to the stadium. I found a scalper or rather the group of scalpers. The one guy had two and I said all I have was $220, and he was like "have a nice day" and that was that. So then I was standing next to the bushes and there was this guy named Ty who had bought tickets from a scalper for $600 a piece. I was like "I'll buy one for $220 and he said no, but we were still talking. He said to me that if he didn't sell the tickets (because he was trying to get better seats even though they were in A deck on the open end) we would go in together and sit there. Well he ended up selling the tickets. So then I was standing around holding up one finger trying to see if anyone would sell me their ticket. I had been standing there for awhile and I decided to call Patty to see if her parents were still going to the game....while I was on the phone with Patty a guy or rather a student came up to me and asked me if I needed a ticket. And I was like ya. He asked me if I had a student ID and I said ya. He didn't even ask me how much I would buy the ticket for...all he said was "do you want the ticket for $200"....I was like ya. He said that he couldn't upgrade it or he didn't have time to....so that is why he sold it. So I got the ticket and I was waiting around for Ty. Ty and I had made a deal that If he got two more tickets we would just go in together and then I would sell my ticket and give him a little bit of money. When he game back he still didn't have two tickets so I told him that I was going to go home and put some warmer clothes on. When I came back, he had bought two falcuity/staff tickets. The guy that he bought them from said that you wouldn't need an ID to get in, but I knew that you would. Ty wasy going to try to sell these tickets yet agian....I think because he thought he could still get better ones..idk...so he was going to sell them for $1000 for the pair to these two guys. He said that he would walk up to the gate with the guys just to make sure that they didnt' need an ID. Well I was right in the end because they needed an ID to get in. So Ty sold the two tickets to a scalper and lost some money on it....Durring this time I had people offering me like $300-$400 for my ticket. Everytime I was like I'm not sure that I'm selling because I really want to go to the game. Ty ened up not being able to get two tickets so I went to the game.....I had a great time. It wasn't until later that evening after I told Micki my scalping stroy and how much that I was offered that I realized I should have sold my ticket when the one person offered me $400 for it because I could have used the money to pay off my creidt car. Ya I'm kicking myself for not selling the ticket, but at the same time I'm glad that I went to the game.

Later that evening Micki and I went to Wall Street because it was traffic jam. We stayed until about 12:15ish and then came home and went to bed

I just realized that the steelers are playing and right now they are losing 10-0 to the BROWNS of all teams. So I'm off to watch the game....until next time...ttyl

Being Bored...

Not much has really gone on in the past few days execpt for school, fencing, and saturday being my last day at express.

Right now I'm siting outside of Micki's classroom becasue I have to go the doctors with her. I have to admit, it's kind of boring just sitting here. It I couldn't get internet, I think I might fall asleep. I think she gets out at 2 so that's only like 20min away.

My next biggest thing is that I'm trying to get one maybe two tickets to the OSU Vs Michigan game. I was trying ebay for a bit, but I always got out bided and I wasn't going to spend more than $300 for two tickets. So today in practice I asked Alex Delany (an epee fencer) if he had a ticket to the game. He said yes and then I asked him if he would want to sell it to me. He said no, but then I said I would pay $100 for it...he was still kind of hesitant so I said $150. He said he would tell me at the end of practice. Well the end came and he said yes....I don't really care where he seat is. Ya it would be nice to be close, but he said that he is in like section D. Really....from the few games that I have been to, the higher up you are, the better you can actually see the game. So I'm not going to complain....I just have a big smile on face. I did post something on ebay before I had asked Alex about a ticket saying that I was looking for one or two tickets to the game. This guy e-mails me and we have been talking. He has 8 tickets that he wants to sell. At first he told me $250 for each and I was like I have $200-$250, $300 max for two. Then he said $400 for both, but I still don't have that much money. I know this guys seats are better, but I'm all about the cheapness. Unless he emails me and says that he will sell me 2 tickets for $300 or something like that then I'm just going to stick with Alex's ticket. It sucks that I can't get a ticket for Micki. I'm still kicking myself about not buying season tickets at the beginning of the year, but oh well....I am going to buy them next year though. Hopefully there is going to be someway that Micki will be able to go to the game, but we will see...

I have also started to become a coupon lover...I think I got that form Kristin and my mom. A while ago I signed up for the dispatch, but only for sundays for 26 weeks. I think I might ask for a full year subscription from my parents for like a year just to suday...we will see. Right now though I am saving quite a bit with coupons. If there is a way to save money, I'm all about it.

I really can't think of much else that needs to be said execpt for the fact that my ass is falling alseep from sitting on the groud....but you probably didn't really need to know that. Anywho, I think Micki's class gets out soon so I need to start to pack up. So until next time....ttyl

Randomness..

Well lets see....today I got the flu shot, which I have never gotten a flu shot before but coach was insisting that everyone got one. I got one so that I didn't have to deal with coach. Ya, my arm is a little bit sore, but oh well.

My car engine is offically dead. I found that out last week. Alton thought that it might have just been the oil pump. He put a new one in and the engine still didn't work so he is putting in a used engine that has like 18,000miles on it. It's going to be a hell of a lot cheaper than having Bob Cauldwell fix it. The only thing that sucks is that my rents are not letting me pick it up on friday and I have a ton of stuff that I need to get out of the car, and the car is a mess in general. Oh well...I told my dad that the car is a mess and that they will have to deal with it. My rents will pick me up for thanksgiving and I will get the stuff out of the car then.

As far as work goes....this saturday is going to be my last day. I feel bad because I didn't really put in my two week notice, but I didn't know this car things was going to happen. I can't keep depending on Micki to get to work on the weekends because she works too. Although, I will be getting kind of of job at younkin. When someone needs to call off I am going to be able to be a sub and they pay more than express. I just have to be very careful how I spend my money now since I won't be having a source of income besides what my rents give me. When I do get my car back though, I will work at express again since I will have a way of transportation. Now, if express was like in the shops on lane ave. then I wouldn't have a problem because I could bike to there. For me it will be hard to find a job because I can really only work on the weekends because I have school all of the other days. Rather I have classes back to back on Monday and Wednesday, no class on tuesday or friday, and only one class on thrusday, but my tues. and fridays are spent studying for school at younkin. In theory I could work thoes days, but if I did that then I would not have time to get any homework done.

I also sent Kristin her package on friday and I put something else in there that she has been wanting.

This past weekend I was at Penn State for fencing. I didn't do all that well. There were three rounds of pools and then De's and I didn't make it out of the first round of pools. Then they had a consilation round for the losers. There were a total of 70 woman epee'est and they cut 30 after the first round and I was 46...go figure. It is my fault that I didn't make it because I didn't actually start to fence good until the last two bouts of my pool and that was a bit toooooo late. There was this one girl however....that I was fencing. I was winning 3-0 and she ended up coming back and making it 3-3. There was 7 seconds left and I was going to wait it out to go into the extra minute. Well that guy that was keeping track of time, I don't think he was really paying attention to when time had elapsed because he hesitated as to when she scored. I know that the 7 seconds was up before she hit, but whatever. So then I fenced in the consilation round. I did pretty good that round, I won my first two De's and then lost my 3rd one. The stupid thing was, was that she was a really easy fencer and I lost. The other part is that she was from Drew University and my ex-boyfriend paul was there and he is her teammate. He really wasn't cheering for either of us because of the situation. So while I was fencing her, she completly steped on the top of my foot(I think she did it on purpose). I tried to do a retreat and I pulled my ankle. Now I have a small ankle sprain, but I should get better soon. Shura made it through all three round and to De's. She lost her De to get into the top 8, Elyse didn't make it out of the 2nd round of pools.

Since I had to work on sunday, I drove back with eileen and shrua. Eileen had a jazz concert to be in and shura had to work too....So after we were all done we drove back. Eileen drove for about 2hours and then I drove the rest of the way. I really didn't mind driving expecpt for the fact that eileen's car doesn't have cruse control and I have a lead foot. Just put two and two together. I also found out that it was a good thing that I left when I did because someone slashed the tires on The Ohio State University bus....I'm guessing that it was someone from Penn state because they hate us. So on suday I went to eileen's jazz concert and then I went to work. We were doing floorset yet again so I didn't get out of there until like midnight.
