Work...Work...and more Work

I know that it has been awhile since I posted anything, but I have been very busy. All I have been doing is working. I either work one job one day...or both in one day. See, I'm in need of money to pay off my credit card so I have been trying to work extra at Giant Eagle when I'm not at Express. I worked both jobs on monday, and then just Express on tuesday. On wednesday I just worked at Giant Eagle, and then today I worked at Express. Tomorrow I work at Giant Eagle. I kind of want to go in early....but at the same time I need to get some of my school work done because I need to stay ahead and not get behind. I have most of my reading done....but I still have a little bit left, and then I have to take my knowledge check (kc). I also need to start to do the first assignment that is due on the 7th I think...anywho...enough about work...

This past weekend was pride and it was awsome!!!!! Micki, Me, Kelly, and Keela, and some other people met up at Union Station and we had lunch. Then we watched the parade, and got lots of free stuff that they threw out. Let me tell you, you see some quite interesting people in the parade. Afterwards, we walked around comfest and saw lots of neat shops selling things. There was also lost of live music. Once we walked around for about an hour or so, we decided to go back to my apartment to go swiming....Well rather just Micki and Jeff went swimming because once I realized that I got payed from Express last friday, Me, Kelly, and Keela went to Tuttle to get my pay check because I needed money to go out. When we got back from Tuttle, we all went back to comfest...oops...the one thing I forgot to say was that at first just Micki's dad came to watch the parade...and then later after we went back the second time, both of her parents were at comfest and we met up with them. Micki's parents have never been to comfest so it was something new for them. Then Micki, Me, and her partents met everone else back and Union Station. It was sooooo much fun having Micki's parents there because they had alot of fun...they had soooo much fun that they even decided to go to Wall Street with all of us....we would have never of guessed that. There were there for awhile and then they left. We got to Wall around 9:30 and stayed until about midnight or so. It was a good thing that we got there early because after we got there, it got packed. We went outside a few times to get some air and the line no joke was to the end of the block. Once Micki and I left, I was looking in the line to see if I knew anyone. It turned out that I did. I ended up seeing my asl teacher Amy. I haven't seen her since last year at comfest. She was litteraly at the end of the line and she said that it was an hour wait to get in. At that point I would have thought that it was worthless to wait in line for over an hour. Get in past one, and Wall is only open until about 2:30 and you had to pay $5 to get in. No matter if you were over 21 or not. But people were still waiting in line even though they would only be in for like an hour.

But over all, we had an amaizng weekend that was filled with lots of fun and excitement. Now it is time for Leslie to go to bed because I'm very tired and my eyes are falling out of my head. So until next time....ttyl

so i have tired to post the pictures...they say they are uploaded...but nothing is here....when i get back from work i will fiddle with this some more...for now i need to get ready....sorry

Back to working...

On Monday and Tuesay I worked 9 hour shifts both days at the Express at Easton. I had to help with the floor set. It's kind of funny that they scheduled a person that I has only been working for like 3 days to help with floor set, but it's all good. On Monday I was actually down on the floor for the first part of the day...then for the rest of the day I was up in the stock room helping process shipment.....No joke, on Monday they got over 200 boxes of shipment. Then on Tuesday I was up in the stock room all day steaming....Well the first part I spent going around to each zone and asking if they needed anything, going up to the stock room and finding the item, and then going back down to give them the items.....mind you the Express at easton is huge! When your walking around you really don't think about it, but when you have to walk up and down the stairs over 100 times you realize how big the store is, and I'm glad that our store in Tuttle isn't that big. Then for the second part on Tuesday I was up in the stock room using the steam machine to steam the mens clothing. There was an entire wall in the men's department that had to be steamed, so Lindsey and I split it up. The steamer can hold about 15 items, and it takes 10min for each cycle.....and with the mens cargo shorts, sometimes you would have to steam them up to 3 times because of how they were. So for the second part of the day I did alot of standing around and waiting. Yes they got a drop shipment, in that they don't normally get shipment on tuesday. I was helping a little with the shipment, and then a whole bunch of people came up to help. So when I would go and check on my stuff to get steamed my spot or table that I was using would end up getting taken....So I was just like screw this...I will just stick with the steaming, and that I is what I did...

Yesterday was wounderous....I had a day off and I slept until about noon. I was just soooo tired and the fact that it rained all night and yesterday morning, I could not get up. When it rain's...all Leslie wants to do is sleep because I sleep soooo well when it rains. After I got up I was going to go outside and do my reading for my online class....but I couldn't go outside by the pool to read becasue it was raining. So I read inside. Leslie was also a good girl. I got all of my reading done yesterday and I took my online knowledge check. Micki went to the movies with her friend and when they came back Micki, her friend and I went to the speghetti wharehouse and it was delisious. Then we drove arouund c-bus for awhile and then went back to the apt. We were then going to go bowling. Micki's friend was supposed to go bowling with us, but then she go a call from her friend that he got a new car and he wanted her to check it out. Micki and I thought that was kind of rude...but whatever. It's just kind of funny because her friend has never been bowling in her life. She is from Egypt...so it would have been a fun time for her but she wanted to check out a car instead.

At 11:15 we head over to AMC and meet up with the people that we are going to go bowling with. We all headed to the bowling palace. Micki only bowled one game...but I bowled 3. On my second game I broke 100....I was excited, but Danallia still beat me by a long run...113-130...oh well...Micki took alot of pictures but they are on a desposiable camera so it might be awhile until I can put them up. Once I was done with my last game, Micki and I decided that it was time to leave. We left around 2am...but will still had alot of fun....Kristin, you would of had fun bowling like you alwasy do!

Today is back to work...I work at Express from 2-7, and then I work at Giant Eagle from 11-7:30 on friday, and then Micki and I are going out to dinner to celebrate our one year aniversary. I'm soooo excited. And then it's comfest on Saturday/Pride. We are going to have soooo much fun this weekend. Well I think that is about it...so until next time, ttyl!

Starting to relax

Today was a beautiful day....the sun was out all day and not a cloud in the sky. I guess I slept alot of the day away because I didn't get up until noon. I was just sooooo tired from not getting home until 2:30 this morning and also becasue I didn't sleep very well. But after I got up I was productive. I went to Giant Eagle to get my paystub and to check my work schedule for next week. Go figure, when I went they didn't have my schedule up yet so I had to go back a little bit ago to see when I worked. After I got back earlier I spent the rest of the day painting by the pool. When I paint it just relaxes my sooooo much and puts me in a better mood. Also listening to music while painting puts me in a better mood. It's almost like I go into my own little world and forget what is happening around me. I got most of my painting done, just some outlining to do and to paint the backround. I don't know what I'm going to paint the backround to be, but I will figure it out. After I'm done putting up this post I think I am going to go back out and finish it. Micki just went to work so I will be chilling by myself for a little while. Other than that, not much else has happened today. Oh, I will be seeing the new movie called I think the lake house...it's about a man and a women who fall in love with each other but they are in different years on the same day. In other words, one is in the present and the other one is in the past. I think it's going to be a good movie. Micki is supposed to let me know when they are going to be showing it. And of course...I still miss Kristin. Sometime this summer when I have a few days off, I might try to plan a visit to her...idk yet, hopefully I can work it out....Love ya Kristin!!! So for now I think that is all I have to say...back to painting....until next time, ttyl....

A very sad day

Today is the day that I wished would never come because my best friend is leaving me. She has done soooo much for me, and it's hard to say goodbye. I know she will visit or I will visit her, but it's not going to be the same. Even though we can talk on the phone, or talk on blogspot, it's stll not going to be the same. I will never forget all our fun memories together, and just keep hoping that with the miles between us, we will be able to make more. I still think that she should stay the summer here, as do many of ther other friends and then leave in the fall. I have tried and so have others, but we couldn't get her to stay.....I guess it's what she had to do and it's good to do what's important. Well I know that this is a short one, but it's getting harder and harder for me to write this because it's making me think of her. So when I feel a bit better, I will write some more....ttyl...













Kristin: your like the sister I never had, and you are my best friend ever. I will miss you more than you know!

So today I had a wounders day. The only part that sucked today was that I had to be up by 8:45 because my mom and I had to get breakfast, drop off my battery for my camera at ritz becasue I was a dumb ass and didn't bring the charger, and then I had my 11:00 apt. at the spa until 3:00. The day at the spa was amazing...the first thing that I got was a full body massage and that was just wounderous. Afterwards I felt like a noodle and it made me sooooo tired, but that was a good thing. Then I got my hair done and let me tell you, I wish Hector was in columbus. He did an amazing job on my hair. I would have him be my permenent hairdresser, but that would cost alot because I would have to fly to chicago and then I would have to pay for my hair apt. on top of that. Maybe if I come out and visit my mom or somthing I can get my hair done. He made my hair look more natural with the high lights and everything. Then I got my nails done. After I was done my mom met back up with me and we started to shop. I went to Express and bought a pair of jeans becasue when I work at Express I have to ware Express jeans if I want to ware jeans to work....I just think that is retarted. I have nice jeans from the Limited...but NO...I can't ware thoes, oh well. Then we went to Nordstroms and I got a pare of sandles for my jeans/capris that I got from express. After shoe shopping, my mom and I went back to her apt. to rest for awhile. But before I took a nap, I went down to Jewels and bought a Strawberry Daquri wine cooler.....and yes they carded me, but they did say happy birthday to me. After that I went up and crashed on the couch until dinner. I was just soooo tired. I think one reason I was soooo tired was because I was out until 2am this morning getting drunk with my mom, and then being up early was another whole thing.

Now dinner.....dinner was just fabilous!!!!....It was called I belive Brazza, or something like that. You go there, go to the salad bar and they have all sorts of different salad stuff. The salad stuff was quite yummy. Then for the main meal....The main meal is something of it's self. What it is, is they have all of this different meat on these rods and you have this chip that says yes for food, or no for no more food. These servers come around with all of these different meats and you get to sample what you want to. I took a sample of alot of different meats and I was just in heaven. They were out of this world. I also had a fuzzy navel....thanks to Kristin...and some other lime drink that they recomended that was good, but I liked the fuzzy navel better. I was soooo full that I had to take the dessert home and after I'm done putting this post up, I'm going to eat it.

After dinner we came back and it was time to open presents....Leslie LOVES to open presents. I got the stuff that I wanted, but the one thing that I have wanted for a long ass time, I didn't think that I would get it. After I opened all of my gifts, my mom hands me a card and it's a voltswagon beetle bug with flames on it. I read it and at the end it says "ps...ask mom about the deal"....well it turns out that the jeep is offically MY car. Yes it's still going to be under my mom's name for the insurance because it's going to be cheaper, but it's MY car. And for the winter they are going to lease it from me....in that they will give me $50 a week to use the car.....Now don't get me wrong...they really don't have to give me $50 a week to use the car, but hey, I'm not going to complain about it...it's extra money.

So over all, I would say that I had an awsome 21st b-day and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Now it is time for me to go back up to the room, eat my dessert, and then go to bed. So until next time...ttyl

21ST B-DAY!!!!

Ok, so I'm a little bit drunk...if i spell things wrong i'm sorry. it was wounderous being able to go up to a bar and be able to order somethng with out them saying no. i had a cosmopolitan and 2 bombocicles. the bobmcicles were awsome. they tasted like a popcicle. but i think that is hwy i'm so drunk because they had lots of acohol in the drinks. the sad part is that i was with my mom, but at the same time it was kind of funny because i have nefver been drunk in front of my mom let alone my partents befroe. anywho, i should be getting off to bed because i have a nice day at the spa tomrrow and then a day of shopping....so until tnext time...ttyl

So last night before I was going to go to bed, Micki took my picture. I though what the hell....I'll put in up in a post. It's kind of funny. I think it turned out good. Maybe over this summer I will have even more crazyer picures...We will just have to wait and see.





Ok, so here is the story behind this. Yesterday before work I was like Micki, lets go get me a tattoo. She was shocked. She didn't think that I would go through with it, but I did. I don't think I will end up regretting this tattoo because it's just my initials and plus, it's small. Now this doesn't mean that I'm going to go hog wild and get a shit ton of tattoos. This will probably be my only one. If I get another one, it will be my initials on the other side so I'm symetrical, but that's it. Also, it didnt' hurt nearly as bad as I thought it would, which is a good thing. Now Kristin, before you say anything.....I know that I'm crazy and that I need to save money. That is what you are going to say, but I had some extra money, so it's ok. I don't think my parents will ever find out about it because it's in a place that is covered all of the time. If they ever find out, hopefully it's sometime later...Like a few years later. We will see...Well I should problby get back to sudying before I have to work. So until next time...ttyl

Oh the rain...

So today was a nice day....rather hot, but nice. Then this afternoon it decides to poor, which is not a bad thing either because it has been soooo hot. The only thing that sucked was that I had to drive in it. I didn't know that it was going to be sooo bad, otherwise I would have just gone home. I hate driving in the rain when you can't see more than a foot infront of you. All that matters is that I made it back home alive in one piece.

I have my textiles and clothing 270 final tomorrow at 10:30am. I fell like I have studied pretty well for it, but then again I don't want to jinks myself. I always find a way to jinks myself. My plan is to get up around 7 or 7:30 tomorrow and finish studying. I read through all of the lecture notes tonight. I think I will do the same thing tomorrow morning just so that I have everything fresh in my head. Wish me luck for tomorrow.....Now one would think that it being a friday night tomorrow that I would be going out, but no....I have to work from 6:30-12. After I take my final I will be studying all day for my other finals that are next week. I have two on monday and one on tuesday. The reason I have to get alot of studying done tomorrow is because I work on saturday and sunday. My dad asked me tonight if I was working alot this weekend and I told him no. I hate when I have to do that, but I need the money. It's not like I'm not going to study. I will get up before work in the morning....depending on when I'm working and study. I actually get more things done if I set a plan and say I'm going to do something. Me knowing that I have to be at work at a certain time makes me work harder on getting things done before work.

Well, I think I should be going to bed soon....Yes I know it's only 11:06, but I need to get up early. So off to bed....until next time, ttyl....
