So I have been lazy...lol

Ok...I know it has been a REALLY long time since I last posted. See what happened was that my laptop crashed and that is where I had my link to blogspot. It's not that I didn't know the address on how to get to blogger, but I just kind of forgot because it wasn't on my favorites page anymore. But now I'm back and I'm hoping to get back to bloging like I used to. I know Kristin is going to have something to say...but oh well.

Well this past week we have been doing two-a-days for fencing. I haven't gone to all of the practice for one reason or another, but my body is still sooooo sore. Every summer I tell myself that I going to work out so it's not so bad in the begining of the year, but do I ever work out during the summer????...no. And each year I'm like ouch, and I haven't learned yet. Today at the end of practice this morning, we had to put tape on the edge of all the strips because they are painting the floor tonight. I definatly don't mind not having a second practice today. So instead, I might be going out to wall tonight with a girl named Jamie who I have been talking to. She is from Athens Ohio. It will be nice to finally meet her. She nothing more than a friend because both of us are not looking for a relationship right now.

Well let me refrase that....I'm not trying to jump right back into a realationship. Whatever happens happens. If I meet someone new great, if I don't it's ok. There is plenty of time to meet new people and that is what I'm really trying to do. Just get out there to meet new people.

So other than fencing, I have been really lazy and haven't done much this week. I really need to finish putting things away in my apartment and get it organized for the school year. I actually want to have a place to do my homework since I have a kitchen table, but I can't really use it since it has a whole bunch of shit on it. So I'm hoping that this weekend I will be a bit more productive in organizing my apartment. We will see....I know once I actually start to clean and unpack some boxes I can have my apartment cleaned and organized in no time at all.

The other week I did drive out to Missouri to see Micki and I stopped in Carbondale on the way home to see Kristin. I have to say, it was not fun driving 13hours out to Missouri in one night. I was beyond dead the next day because I was soooo tired. I had fun out in Missouri, and I had alot of fun haning out with Kristin too. We went out to two bars on the one night. I wasn't planning on getting all that drunk, but I did. Then I was like crap because I had to drive the rest of the way back to c-bus the next day. I did buy a new outfit while I was in Carbondale at Old Navy. I still think it sucks that you have to pay sales tax on clothing because in PA you don't have to. But oh well..."das is life"...as I always say.

Well I think I am going to go and work on a picture that I have been working on for my mom on photoshop. It's a little doodle that my grandma did and my mom wanted me to do something with it so that she can frame it. So until next time....ttyl!

Sometimes things slap you in the face...

Yesterday is a day that I don't want to remember. Yesterday Micki and I broke up and it hurts. The sad thing is, is that Saturday is supposed to be our 2 year aniversary but that is not going to happen now. This probably won't be a very long blog because I will probably start to cry and I don't want to do that since I'm at younkin. It seemed to me that everything was going fine, but apparently not. It's going to be a rough few days, but I'm not going to ruin Kristin's wedding since it is her day. When I leave c-bus tomorrow to drive to Chicago I'm going to leave my feelings for now in c-bus and not bring them to Chicago with me. All I need to keep telling myself is that there are many other fish in the sea and that there will be somone else out there for me. Well I think I am going to sign off because it's getting harder to write so until next time....ttyl :(

Soooooooo tired

I know it's been a long time since I have posted anything, but school has been consuming my life and that is no lie. I had my last final or rather project today (which today for me is wednesday) and now I'm just sitting working at younkin being bored off of my ass because there is no one here execpt for me and Staci and this one guy in the computer lab. Tomorrow (which is really now) is the last day of finals so most people are done with their finals and there isn't anyone here studying. But hey, I'm at least getting paid to sit here and write this blog and I got paid to drive to Giant Eagle and Kroger which were not 24hours and then to 711 to get me some stuff for my upset tummy. I didn't miss much that is for sure. I don't know what I did to make my tummy sooo upset but hopefully this stuff works. It normally does. Then maybe I will eat some snack food, who knows. I think that is quarter I am going to get close to a 4.0 because I'm going to be getting an A in my Art Edu 252 class, an A in my English 304 class, and hopefully an A my textiles class. We just turned in our final project today that is worth 50% of our grade. So if I fail this project, (which I'm not going to) I will fail the class. My teacher said that our projects would maybe be done late tomorrow(today) so I asked if I could stop by between 2 and 3 to get it since I am driving home. So hopefully it's done, if not I will just have to wait until grades are posted to know what my grade is going to be in that class. But I'm going to guess some type of an A.

So you know when your teacher says as long as you study the study guide you will be fine for the exam and you do that and then your not ok...well this time for my english class that is what he said and that is what I did and it turned out that the sample final that he made was exactly the same as the actual final. There was like one question that I was iffy about and there was one part of the short anwser that I forgot because there were 5 things that we had to list and I could only remember 4. So I'm pretty sure that I got an A on that final. I really wish that all teachers would do what he did in that making the exam exactly like the sample final, but not all teachers do that. But anywho...

So on this past saturday I had a bad thing happen. My computer, which should have already been a lemon computer crashed for the 2nd time in like a year. This time in the store they were not able to get ANYTHING off of my harddrive and all I wanted was my pictures, but they are all gone. They said that I could have the place that it gets shipped to use more technical stuff to retreve my pictures, but it could cost up to $1600 bucks and I was like NO....and then yesterday the geek squad calls me and asked if I wanted them to do that and I still said NO. Then they said that my computer would be shipped last night and would be back in 3 business days. Well I was planning on sending my computer in after finals week, but it had to get sent in a little early. I was soooo pissed because I haven't had anything to inertain me....well that's a lie. Up until tonight I had been working on my textiles and clothing project. But tonight has been the killer because I don't have anymore finals or anything so I'm just sitting around with Staci talking or on a computer when I should be at the desk, but then again, Staci is sitting right next to me at the computer. And there is also no one here. If there were people here I would be at the desk. So when I get my computer back I'm going to try to send it back out to get a lemon computer if the jack in the back is still having problems. I'm just sick of this computer really.

I'm driving home tomorrow(today) on my birthday but oh well and then I'm going to chicago this weekend for Kristin's bridal shower and then back to pittsburgh for a jury summons and then driving back to c-bus on the 15th or 16. Then summer school starts on the 18th. Well I think that is all I have to write about...can't think of anything more. My eyeballs feel like they might just fall out. So I think I might go and close my eyes for like 15min. So until next time...ttyl!!

I know it's been awhile, but here we go..

1) I lived in France for 3 months when I was a baby and went back when I was 7 or 8, and then celebrated christmas there in I think 2004

2) Since I don't cook many complicated meals I normally fix pasta with prego since that's the easiest thing to make

3) I have become addicted to my xbox 360 again which is not good because then I don't get my work done that needs to get done.

4) I have been going to Florida for family vacation for the past 21 years, and this is going to be the first year that I won't be going because I'm taking summer school.

5) I made it to the NCAA for fencing this year and only one 6 bouts of 23...that is kind of sad.

6) I am a huge Harry Potter fan and I can't wait until the new move comes out and espically until the last intalment of the books comes out too...

7) Lastly....I'm addicted to the discovery health channel.

This quarter has been going by very fast and before I know it, it's going to be finals week. The nice thing is that I only have one written final and in my other two classes I just have final projects. If the quarter were to end now, I would have a 4.0 which will help my GPA when the quarter actually ends. I have been very busy doing my drawings for my textiles and clothing class. I had my interview for the textiles and clothing 670 class. It was a very short interview, so we will see what happens. I got a 250/250 on my art edu midterm which was nice. Other than that, school has been school.....

I started to ride my bike more. I think the reason why I have started to ride my bike again is for two reasons. One being that Micki decided to buy a bike and we went for a small bike ride the day she got it and ever since then I have been riding my bike to class. See, before my rents got me my car I would always ride my bike to campus no matter what. But once I got my car I was just like..."I will just drive and then walk from the car." So that is what I have been doing. Second being that with gas prices being so high, it's worth it to bike where I can so I can save gas, and plus I get my exercise in and it will help me to keep my legs in shape for fencing. We are not even going to talk about fencing because I got my ass chewed out by coach on thrusday and I actually went to practice on friday and now I have to keep going. Put it this way, coach is really pissed at me, and that is putting it nicely.

I swear I'm not dead....I'm just a bad bloger

I know that I have been a very BAD blogger, but I have a reason. I have had no time to sit down at a computer for an extended amount of time and write a post. My school work this quarter has been taking over my life it seems like. For my TC370 class all I'm ever doing is drawing. Since the class meet M,W,F, we always have something due wether it's a practice drawing or an actual project due. So that class has been consuming my evenings when I would normally be on the computer or when I would get up in the morning to finish a drawing. My Art Edu 252 consumed my weekend last week because we had the first half of our midterm due for a critique and people actually got my concept right which made me quite happy. I have to do the other half this weekend because the final print out of my midterm is due on Monday at the begining of the class. My first half of my diptych was showing all of the benifits that athletes get. I showed a football player handing over the ohio state university symbol to the department of athletics and then I had hands giving things to athletes such as books, art supplies, clothes, special buildings and other things like that. The other half is going to be a student handing over money to the ohio state university and then having two hands coming out from the ohio state university giving the student a place to live, a place to eat, and a diploma for their money. Then I'm going to have a few hands coming out of the student holding money showing the different things that they have to pay for. So I have that half to finish this weekend and then I have a paper thing due for my online class tomorrow that I have to do. So since I have almost a 4 hour layover in Atlanta hopefully I can get some of that done. If I don't, then I wil lhave to work on that when I get to the hotel after I go over to the venue to check my equiptment and what have you. It's kind of weird not having my parents go to a fencing competition. This is my first tournament that my parents or my dad is not coming to. I'm a little bit nervous about it, but at the same time I know that it's going to be ok. My goal this weeknd is to as well as I did in virgina if not better. As long as I come in the top 32 I will be happy since I haven't done all that many national competitons lately. I mean besides college fencing that is all I have been doing. other than that I don't think much else is going on. Oh, I did go to the spring career fair and there were a few companies that seemed interested. They were Wal-Mart, Kohls, and possibly Sears. I have been talking to a women at Dick's Sporting Goods for awhile, but we will see how that goes. Atleast for this summer it's not looking too good for Dick's just because they want you to have photoshop and illustrator, and I have the photoshop experience, and they also want you to be going into your senior year and graduating in the spring of 2008. I would be graduating in the spring of 2008, but since I want to complete my business minor I won't be graduating until Autumn of 2008. Most of the companies said that since I was not graduating in the spring of 2008 that I would have to wait until the following summer to do my internship with them. I would like to do my internship this summer so I get it out of the way and so that I don't have to depend on getting an internship next summer. So who knows what's going to happen. When I find something out I will let you all know. Well I think that if you have gotten this far in reading I think that you are probably tired of reading so until next time....ttyl!

We sucked...

This is going to be very short because the more I think about it, I will start to get upset about it....overall we came in 5th which is not good at all. I only won a total of 6 bouts when I know that I could have won alot more. The guys did ok, but they didn't do as well as they could have. In women the saber girls I think did really good with 15 wins for Eileen and 13 wins for Shiboan, but I'm sure that they think that is not good at all. Julia did good with like 16 or 17 wins...I'm not exactly sure. I know that Shura made 3rd team all american, but I'm not sure how many bouts she won. And then there is me that did the worst out of everyone and that is all I'm going to say because I'm about to cry again. I started to cry when I was talking to Keala....so until next time...ttyl :(

Sitting in the airport...

Not much to say....this past week all I have been doing is fencing, fencing, and did I mention fencing??? I'm excited for tomorrow, but I'm also VERY nervous at the same time. Right now we are in 5th place in the NCAA championship. Mike had 11 bouts, Surgay had 9, Mesha had 6, Pryor had 5, Andraus had 11, and Will had 6. Hopefully that guys do better today. Then our big day starts tomorrow. We have the banquet tonight and I'm actually going to be waring a dress. This is probably the only time that I will be warring a dress. It's raining here so there is not much to do. Micki and I were going to go roller blading yesterday, but it was raining in the morning and then it just kept on raining on and off...plus it's not fun to roller blade on a wet ground. My parents are coming out the NCAA's which is nice. I get to save my predum this weekend. The only time I will have to use it probably is on Monday when we come back....well unless I don't go out to dinner with my parents. Anywho, that is about it...there really isn't all that much going on. I will post tonight after the guys are done to let you all know how we are doing. So until next time....ttyl!
